About me:

I am a Gradute Student in the Quantum Theory Project and Chemistry Department of the University of Florida under the advise of Dr. Jeff Krause. I obtained my B. S. in Chemical Sciences at ITESM, Monterrey, Mexico.

Research Interests.

My research interests involve the development and application of quantum-mechanical methods in the field of nano-science. I am currently working on a project to calculate absorption spectra of dendrimers. This work is being done in collaboration with the Kleiman group, in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Florida. Future work will involve calculations of transport in nano-wires and other nano-devices. Specifically, I plan to study the theoretical principles involved in current-voltage properties at the nanoscale, and how these properties are modified in the presence of external fields.
