Administration of the Slater Lab
- The Slater Lab has a University auxiliary which allows
it to collect fees for
services. These funds are used to pay annual maintenance
costs and buy supplies. It is also used to maintain an
emergency fund to buy replacement parts for equipment that
is not covered by a maintenance contract or warranty. The
cost structure and fees are can be found here. The Slater
Lab is created to provide services to the Quantum Theory
Project. It is allowed to provide services to the home
departments of Chemistry and Physics and to other
Departments in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Accounts are available for members of QTP and their
collaborators. The rules for passwords are similar to the rules
for the UF GatorLink
password.

The Slater Lab has formulated policies and has defined
procedures to perform regular risk assesment and to provide continuity of business in case
of disaster.
